A thoughtful kitchen transformation that preserved the existing appliance layout while creating purposeful storage, clearer countertops, and a warmer, more effortless space for everyday life.

THE CHALLENGE
Beautiful, but Not Designed for Daily Life
The kitchen was beautiful, but the storage was not designed around the homeowners’ cookware, utensils, small appliances, and daily routines. They also wanted clear countertops without making frequently used items harder to access.
THE DESIGN DIRECTION
Designing the Cabinetry Around What Goes Inside
We kept every appliance in its existing location and redesigned the cabinetry around how the kitchen was actually used. Purposeful drawers, pull-outs, and custom storage kept cookware, spices, utensils, paper towels, soaps, and everyday essentials organized within their proper zones. A custom white oak hood and matching shelves added warmth and created the kitchen’s focal point.

THE RESULT
More Function Without Moving a Single Appliance
Without adding square footage or relocating appliances, the kitchen gained more usable storage, clearer countertops, and a better flow for everyday tasks. Everything now has a designated home, and the finished space feels warmer, calmer, and intentionally designed.
